Re: New Fountain Owner

hp 2000 I think I have seen you around i had a 24' sonic ss all redone and i have been boating on the river for years. Thanks to the rest of you guys for the warm welcome. Just a little update i pulled the motor this past sunday and i am having it freshined up even though it didn't need it and maybe we'll see about a little more HP. It never hurts to have a little more. Is there any fix to the fuel gauge problem or is it something you just have to live with, and what kind of range do you get with these boats under normal running condition. Also what size prop do you guys think i will need for 600-650 hp. I will post some pics after she is cleaned up and back together. Come on summer.

Not much you can do with teh fuel gauge

As for prop, at 600hp I would say a 26,27,28 Hydro would be a good start

To give you some base # I have 500efi 25 Hydro, 5350rpm gps 74mph at sea level.

WILL :D
