Default What is this 47 worth?

This boat has always appealed to me, the killer has always been the engines, I wouldn't mind something a little tamer, where do you see the value for this boat less the motors? (not the drives)

I was working on around $18k per motor? so somewhere in the $75k range seem fair.

Has been for sale for a while now. Wonder why they can't sell it? I'd HATE to have to work on it, especially anything on those rear engines. I've done it before and everytime I work on a triple engine boat, it makes me MORE sure that I'll NEVER want to own one.

Probably similar money, just lower maintenace, it sounds like a retro grade step but I am thinking long term, I would like to replace them with something around the 600-650hp mark, I don't need to go 100mph, but need a boat to handle rough water and not break drives all the time.

That is one awesome looking rig. I always have wondered why
it hasn't sold. Seems like the power is worth the asking price.

I believe some of the reason is it has no cabin. The buckets looked cramped and so does the cockpit. I think it's a great boat especially for the coin. You could part out what you dont like. Wet sump 6's are still worth something. Jeff

Thats my point, it would be one of the ulitmate rough water boats in my humble opinion. Just the thought of the hassles with 3x1100hp blower motors holds no appeal. I don't need a cabin as we have a sport fisher for that. I might make them an offer less power and see if they bite.
