Default Swim ladder

Any ideas on a swim ladder for my 35' Classic? I have put it off for a number of years. My wife would really like a ladder. What suggestions do you have? Thanks.

That's a good question. My wife keeps asking me put one on our boat but I want something that is going to look good and not look like it was just stuck on as an afterthought. What have some of you guys done?

My 06 42 Executioner also did not come with a ladder. I purchased a rope ladder from West Marine with the idea of hanging it off one of the cleats on either side of the swim platform, but this is definitely not a great solution. I did not want to order the boat with the bracket-mounted ladder on the rear corner, either. Has anyone mounted a factory-style ladder on their swim platfrom? How did you do it?

post 10 on this thread is the ladder that slides into bracket. From factory, very sturdy works great!

Had a ladder on a 27 and 32 like the ones pictured. It worked well, Just put it under the rear seat when not in use. West Marine or Boaters World, they are not cheap. The worst part was mounting the bracket for the ladder. Its through bolted with a backing plate inside the swim platform. I had a dealer install it.

Checkout this thread...I called the outfit in the link and they were very helpful. All you need to do is give them the measurements of the area where you want to mount the unit and they will make it and ship it within a week. The only objection I have to the factory/West Marine setup is if you forget it and get underway it leaves you forever! At $300 plus per, that can get a bit expensive...good luck.

I Have a 29 with the center ladder and hate it! Could you put
a ladder in a worst place. My friend with a 27 got a single step
pop up that he mounted port side that was low key and with
the spring action so it was always up. Just a thought.
