Default steering wheel change

can anyone tell me how to remove trim buttons from steering wheel ?can the red inserts be removed?to be powder coated.

The Red buttons can not be removed without destroying the switch. Been there done that. Fountain no longer stocks the switches. They were custom made for Fountain. The manufacturer will special order them.

do you just pull on them or how do you remove?mine say mach performance C R T IS THIS THE SAME AS YOURS?

I replaced the wheel all together and moved to trim to the stick. I like it alot better.

Yes I have the Cordless rotary trim wheel. My switches had a nut on the back side of the wheel that needed to be removed. Then the switch comes right out. I wanted to powdercoat my faded buttons but found out the hard way that when you try to pry the button off it will destroy the switch.

thanks alot think i'm going with trim on the throttle much easier and i like the custom wheeles

I replaced my CRT with these billet throttles from Eddie Marine.
