I was a APBA Tech Inspector in 2000 and the 1st part of 2001 when Pair-A-Dice was running in P-Class. They did not race every race and just a few back then. The boat was not abused in rough water either as we hardly had any rough water races back then and if there was a rough water race like in Buffalo that year POD was not there. I would not worry about the hull be definitely have it surveyed. I remember them telling me the Merc engine they had in the boat at the time needed freshening every 20 hrs per the owners manual.... Dang! that is sometimes 2 weeks of boating for me!
