47 with 3600hp
Just wanted to say hello to the Fountain people. We are a new advertiser on oso. We are an Eliminator Boat dealer but do work on alot of Fountains. Heres a picture of a 47 we just finished for a customer on Lake Cumberland. The engines are 1200hp each and we rigged it with the new Imco hp1000 drives

Re: 47 with 3600hp
I have a few more pictures on my computer at the shop. I'll post em up in the morning. We built the motors. As far as speed we have not pushed the new set up past 125gps yet. The fuel tanks are factory original. And I will post more pics tomorrow. The only engine pics I have on this computer are a couple procharged 1000s we built for oso member eliminator05

Re: 47 with 3600hp
pm is not to awful bad. They are all hyd. roller so the only thing to worry about is oil changes about every 20 hours. Overhauls are expected in the 150 hour area. Of-course that depends on how hard its run and how well its taken care of.

Re: 47 with 3600hp
Keep plenty of rags with you on the sea trial....I would hate to see those pretty motors go under.
Could you post a transom pic for a "before "ref. |
Re: 47 with 3600hp
This is the only before picture I have and it was to sell the 575s (which are sold)

http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/8...cksengsfm3.jpg I can tell you first hand that Schumaker builds some kickin motors. Eliminator 05's boat has them and they rock, they idle like 454 mag efis and they pull real hard! If I remember correctly his boat has 1100's! All I can say is thanks for the ride Rick, and you know about breaking my personal speed record. |
I like the idea of having a family offhoreboat with wipers, hot water shower AND HUGE power...
Are there any out there who have seen this boat in action? How fast is the peak speed? I would love to see more pictures!! Have a nice day. Erik |
I'm curious to see how the drives hold up myself.
Would be awesome to run though!!! |
Its for sale...
