My 47 is sold - mixed emotions
#1
Its final, the money is in my account and the new owner is going to pick it up tomorrow. It is headed to Maryland.
I kind of feel bad as my family did not want me to sell it. Everyone wanted "one last ride" on it but I refused. After the sea trial I did not want to chance a problem. I am sure it would be fine but you never know.
Looks like I will be getting a Formula 400SS, and hopefully later a offshore hopefully a Donzi ZR I can get in and rip arround with.
I looked at the fountain 38EC (too small) and the 48EC (too big and $$$$) But the 400SS I think is just right. Too bad Fountain doesn't make a 42EC!

I agree on that they need a 40 to 42 they are leaving the market wide open for Formula. Call Casey Freeman 214-269-1828 www.fountaindealer.com he'll put you in Formula 400SS

Congrats on the sale are they upset with you now that it's leaving?
When I sold our Baja I was in the Dog House for a while - until the next ride came in anyway/
Personally I like the 400ss & they are very popular boats for us.
We have an '06 400 with 525's left several '07's on order. Still going to be a change from your 47.

Ray,
I followed your 47 project from the beginning. You poured your heart and soul into it and it's no wonder you feel that way. My hat's off to you, best wishes on your future endeavors.
Best Regards,
Mark S.

I have a 47 Fountain I need to find a new home for and will take a trade. Trip 525`s arch gen and custom paint on a custom trailer. Also has radar on it any takers? Also have a few 400SS in stock both in hardtops and just an arch. I even have a diesel 400SS in stock that I love to drive!
