I dont know Indy...I worry about a guy your age (old) with that kind of power.. You might want to ship the boat to Oklahoma so that I can dial it in for you over the next couple of summers just to make sure it is safe..I'd say 95. More if you add the shorties!

How fast was your boat with the 29's?

I'm trying out some P5Xs this weekend. I liked the stock Bravo 32s, but wanted a comparison.

Let us know how they work! I finally got my rig on the water but so far have not seen any good numbers yet, it runs 88-90 @ 5000 rpm. The rev limiter is set at 5800 so the 32's are too much prop with a 1.36 ratio. Trying to get a set of Bravo 28's and 30's to test. Probably not the best time to expect stellar numbers with humidity and temps near 100. :(

We ran 104 mph. Could probably played with the props, but was happy they way it was. Those where box stock 29's not labbed. It was a little difficult to get on plane, and it didnt cruise in the mid range as efficiently as the 5 blades, but it ran very hard on the top end. Its all a trade off for what you use your boat the most for. Had it set up for running on the rivers in our area. In those informal match-ups its more about acceleration than top speed. If you can put 2-3 boats on someone its over quick.

INDY27 06-30-2007 09:11 AM

Wow! those are great numbers, how much HP?

Rebel_Heart 06-30-2007 10:43 AM

Beakboater - you must have some serious hp to hit 104! I dynoed at 710, so I know that is beyond my expectations. Now, if it would just stop raining I could get some runs in. I had quite a bit of slip with the 32s, but I don't know if the 5 blades will compensate enough to make up for the extra blade? I also want to check the different rpm speeds for a comparison, ie 4000, 4500, 5000, top end.

How fast are you running with 710?
