Indy27 - you don't have -2 Imcos? If you don't, that would be my suggestion. Our boats really like them. You are running the same speed that I ran last year without the shorties. I went through Mr. Gadgets for the purchase and set-up.

How does your boat feel with the shorties? I bought one for my 27 a few years ago and remember the boat not being as stable.

Indy - you are right. The boat exhibits some chime walking with any wave action at higher speeds. But let me tell you, if top speed is what you are after this is the ticket.

I just went back on read your thread from 4 years ago. So you did try the shorties and didn't have great results............I am starting a new thread on my run this am.

That was on my 27, they apparently work well on the single step 35. Did you stay with the 1" propshaft from your old lowers?

I did stay with the one inch prop shaft from the old Bravo lowers. Time will tell if I should have spent the extra money to upgrade uppers.

On my 99 35 single step HP 500s pro-chargers 3lbs boost 1:36 brovo XRs 175hrs Labed Brovo 1's 32 pitched. 90mph
5lbs 94mph

Those are good numbers, that is with the standard lowers?
Has anyone tested a set of 29p Mirage + 3 blades? I have been told by several that that would be the fastest prop but the worst for cruising, I borrowed a set bet have not been able to test due to the weather this weekend. :(
