Allstate quoted my 27 for 320 bucks a year.

Tell them that it has a 496 and the top speed is 50.

Also, my agent said that they can get boats that are 27 and under written on your homeowners policy now.

I had State Farm Insurance several years back and they were terrible to deal with. I am currently with TN Farm Bureau and they are great. Of course it doesn't hurt to have my agent as a neighbor and good friend. It is all about your agent going to bat for you.

I had a friend that had a loan denied on his 29 Fever by Suntrust because the boat went over 70.

State Farm currently insures my 98 29 foot fever.

one of the main reasons why I haven't gotten a 27 fever yet is getting insurance quotes of $2100 a year.

Since I have never had a claim I went for the higher deductable.

You should jump on that. I wonder what they would charge for a 47 which is much slower?

27' for 300 bucks. It is not considered high performance unless you spout off about going 80mph. Get the replacement value where it needs to be and roll with it. These outrageous insurance quotes kill me. Tell them what they ask for and you will be fine. I have had claims and actually have a 900hp blower motor, not a 502/415. Havent had a problem.

I think just saying Fountain scares them enough to give the higher rate. In my thread about the 25OL Vs. 27 Fever I was looking at those two options for boats and I went to progressives website and typed in those to boats for qoutes and they wanted $2100 a year for the Fountain with a 496HO and $1100 a year for a Baja 25OL with a 496HO
