Or a run out to Montauk and/or Block Island !

Hello all,

I was out at Mariner's Cove to visit Vinnie and Ronnie and it looks like the run to Montauk seems like the most interesting. We are trying to work out something with Ronnie to use the ramp at MCM and leave the trailers parked in his new yard. More to follow on that. How does Sat. May 12th look for everyone with a meeting on Friday night to go over the game plan. We were thinking departing from MCM thru the Peconic and out to Montauk. Weather permitting, we could continue on to Block I. The only thing I am not sure of is if anything is open on Block for docking and lunch. I will check this coming week an post the results. Let me know who's on board!

Gary, I spent a lot of time at Block last summer. There is always docking at the new harbor. Huge marina. Old harbor has limited docking but a lot more fun! Place called Ballards is great!

OK, as soon as I hear back from Vinnie about the launch ramp we can go ahead and plan to depart from MCM head thru the Peconic and on to Block with an alternate of Montauk if the weather does not cooperate. The planned date is Saturday, May 12. Depending on who rings in, we will meet on Friday night to go over the run (we'll pick a place convenient to all). We are only talking 3 weeks so everyone start posting!
