Default Long Island NY (south shore) spring run

I swore I would not do this again but...I am thinking about putting together a spring 2007 run (early to mid-May) on the south shore of Long Island. This will be a "Fountain only" setup just to keep it as simple as possible (no snobbery intended). It will basically be a carbon copy of the '04 run we had at the same time of year. Start at 10:00AM at Heckshire park (to meet those who are trailering in) and run out to Shinnecock Inlet, either inside or out, depending on conditions, etc. Have lunch, at one of several restaurants to be decided, and run back. It worked great the last time so perhaps we will get lucky again! Let me know if anyone is interested and we can have a pre-run meeting in Jan. or Feb. at a local watering hole and a night before meeting as well. I know I can count on Steve (Nolimits) and Vinnie from Mariners Cove (HPFountain), just let me know who else is in!

How can he know the wilds of the Cross Bronx? He flies for a living, only traffic he sees is waiting for take-off on the taxi way ... Might want to get some guidance from a driver.

SO ... If you need some guidance let me know.
LOL ...
