Default Fountain Storage Cover

Does anyone have any experience with the factory storage cover? What's it made of? Fit? Can you use it for long term outside storage?

Thanks!

Try iboats.com

Mine cost 450. and works great. Lightweight, waterproof. Outside the whole season.

Durring summer months the factory mooring cover is great. I would shrink wrap the boat durring the winter.

I bought this one a couple yrs ago. It's a factory full down the side cover that has a a vinyl or pvc like outer layer. My boat is always covered with it either while in my slip during boating season and in the garage during the off season, so not in direct sunlight. Appears to be holding up really good in the 3 yrs I've owned it, plus the couple yrs from the original owner. His ad pic, so not sure if his boat was kept outside.

Good luck in trying to get one. I waited 12 weeks and the last lame excuse they gave me was that they didnt have a 35 there from which to pull a pattern. I gave up and finally had a custom made glove fit sunbrella cover made for it.

I followed JRyan's lead and bought a storage cover for a 36 Baja and it fit really well, like it was made for the Fountain 35. It doesn't look like the seller has any right now, but I would contact him and see if he has more comming. He usually has one or two for sale, and they usually sell for about $135 plus shipping of about $35. Here is the link.
Good luck
David
