Default Looking for a 29 fever

What do I need to look for and worry about in a 29 fountain fever. I'm looking at 2000 - 2002 years, they all seem to have the 500hp in them. Also, what is a reasonable price range for one with 200 or so hours on it?

centerfield, the guy thst bought my 2000 29 Fever has it for sale in Va. The boat is still in awesome condition and the engine (hp500) has been re-freshed. I put around 150hrs on the boat and never had 1 single problem with the boat itself. I replaced the water pump and fuel pump under normal maintancance and after break in of the engine it is Mobil 1 every 30hrs with new plugs every year.
As far as the boat it self 2000 and on 29 Fever are extremely solid boats. I had 1 stress crack show up at the naca duct airway to the bildge and that was fixed and never came back. Very solid well built boat.

I did not personally fix it but I watched the guy I hired do the fix. He ground out the crack which was about 1.5" and filled it with a Marine Tex type of paste that he pre color matched. It dried in about 30 min and then he buffed it out and you could never tell it was there.

My 32 has those same stress cracks near the top of the Nada vents. Thought about having it repaired but afraid the repair would be more obvious.

Nope my guy matched the gel color and you could never tell.

I had a 1998 26 Scarab that was full of stress cracks...what a crappy designed/built boat! Anyway there were probably around 15-20 stress crack repairs all over the boat. You could not tell were any of them were.
