Default 35 Lightning Question

I just bought a 1993 35 lightning non step. It has fresh 500hp and bravos. What should I be running for props? Thanks Heath

Default 35 Lightning Question

I run lab finished 28 Bravo's on my 1998 32 Fever. I tach them 5200 and GPS just over 80 mph. My buddy has a 2004 35 Lightning with 525's and he runs either 32 Bravo's or 30 (6 blade) Herrings. He will GPS just over 90 mph with either set. I would think you could run at least 28 Bravo's. That would not be a bad place to start.

I have a 2000 lightning 35 with HP500EFI's and it has 28 4 blade Bravo's and in the cool winter at sea level it revs too high (like about 5600 rpm), I am about to try 30P Bravo's.

First thing What drive ratio? If its 1.5s try a set of 23/ 3 blades or 24/ 4 blades to get you started the boat w/5oos if running strong will get you in the upper 70s with the rite chop running light bouncing off 80 at sea level in salt water, but that would be all of it, most likely depending on altitude mid to upper 70s..in fresh
Great boat! loved the 90 I Had
