Default left vs right props

can any of you fountain guys tell me why some 27s,and some29s with single engine have left hand prop,and some have right.is there any advantage in running a right,or left.my 94,27 from the factory has a lefty.thanks

My '94 27 also had a lefty. was told it counters the motor torque for a more level ride.

Seems like most of the single engine Fountains I've seen had lefty props.

If your interested I have both R and L..havent tested the Lefty yet (weather) you are welcome to try my right since your right down the road. Its a 26B.

thanks for all the input folks.the only reason i was interested in a rt hand prop is that i have a pachanga22 that is rt hand .just wanted the flexabiality.hey 99fever27,lets hook up and check out those props.that would be great.know what you mean about the weather/boating lately.

Finally got to try a my 24Hydro lefty today. I wasnt impressed. I lost cruise speed, hole shot and overall handeling wasnt as good as the 26bravo right. Didnt really do any wot runs but I dont think it was there either.
