The exhaust was a little complicated. This is the real way to dyno one like it is in the boat.

louie0611 04-26-2007 12:13 PM

TxHawk 04-26-2007 12:22 PM

This is the fuel valves on the bulkhead of the engine compartment. Yours will be in the same place. Every non high flow fitting like these cuts the flow of fuel down considerably. Especially where you see the 180*. By changing all of this to fittings like Strip has posted the flow of fuel is much better. When using an aftermarket Aeromotive pump (which pushes great, but doesnt pull) you need to have good flow. On fuel injected engines, the fuel psi and flow is as important as oil psi!!! Especially when Louie is running the sticks.

(I have the tanks backwards in the picture)

I know about the Areomotive pumps  When mine has a 1/4-1/8 of a tank of gas and sits for long sometime it looses prime:(

Yea Tomtbone said he doesn't even need throttles ,just gap it open:drink:

it all depends how you run the sticks.....Blackwood's rig has more HP on Bravos. You come out of the hole easy you should get a season or 2 out of them. You run the piss out of them or shift at high RPMs they will break quickly. Willis runs his rig with XRs and I think he has the same setup you are getting.

Now I gave you a boat lesson call me on the other deal.

louie0611 04-27-2007 04:09 PM

i'll call you on my way home kid!!

TxHawk 05-01-2007 06:38 PM

I have got to get it cleaned up in the morning. We had it running pretty good today. Its going to take some playing with the props and spacers as do they all. It WILL run over the century mark. Hopefully Louie doesnt kill the drives this weekend.
