Should be done in a week or two. I hope!!

Might be a dumb questions but does anyone know the difference between a 600SC and a 525EFI with whipples?
As far as HP

Here is one of the engines. Louie, you need to register so you can see the pictures. Should have dyno numbers soon.

The 525 w/ whipples would be around 750 I'll guess. What you are doing is my next step, please keep us posted.

I'll everyone posted,

I got your high flow fittings right here. Check out Fountains high flow fuel system... that we are removing. The std. 90*s are apart of the kit from Whipple.

The pick of ExcaliburHawk40 posted of your fuel valves. He said he was changing them. Ive never seen anything like that . I wonder if Fountain puts those on the higher HP boats???Your in good hands. They know what there doing .

I am not to good on explaining this kind of stuff. The 90 high flow is a tube that is bent ,the other is a 90 elbow type fitting it is drilled from each end so in the inside the fuel flow hits a wall and restricks flow and or could aerate it if there a sharp edge , in theory?

This is the fuel valves on the bulkhead of the engine compartment. Yours will be in the same place. Every non high flow fitting like these cuts the flow of fuel down considerably. Especially where you see the 180*. By changing all of this to fittings like Strip has posted the flow of fuel is much better. When using an aftermarket Aeromotive pump (which pushes great, but doesnt pull) you need to have good flow. On fuel injected engines, the fuel psi and flow is as important as oil psi!!! Especially when Louie is running the sticks.

(I have the tanks backwards in the picture)

tomtbone1993 04-25-2007 12:38 PM

thanks for the explanation:cool:

tomtbone1993 04-25-2007 02:33 PM

when will the dyno start?

louie0611 04-26-2007 10:10 AM

Did my engine break your dyno machine,
