Just take some 4200, 5200 and work it in the joint where the tubes fit around the hull openings. Should be able to reach that joint no problem working from the outside and forcing it into the joint. You can line the holes with tape to keep cleanup to a min. Wear gloves.

My 32 doesn't have clamps on those tubes, they were just sealed with a sealer. Those vents and the rubrail is the only sorce of water getting into the bilge, besides the large side openings. I have never had a single drop of water in my bilge since I resealed.

You the Man! I was just out there sticking my fingers up in the tubes from the outside and was wondering if I could take a glob of sealant on my finger and work it in. the joint goes from nothing to as big as a quarter inch. So thanks. Brian

It's been several yrs since I made my rear vent flappers, but I think I filled that joint also, now that it has been brought up a few times recently. KInda jogging my memory.

Great tip on the taping the hole. I would have had a mess without the tape. Hopefully I am going to have a dry bilge. Thanks, Brian.
