I am hoping to take a 47 Lightning on trade for my 2000 42 Outerlimits "No Discipline"
Does anyone have any interest in making a trade?
Thanks!

Later,
I did just sell a 47 and sorry I did so. New baby on the way and want a bigger cabin with a/c and Gen. Also looking to get into a less expensive boat. That is why I want a older 47.
Thanks!

I have a 1997 47 sport cruiser which is MUCH better for a family than a lightning. It rides smooth and dry, better than a lightning, because of deeper gunwales and more freeboard for big water (although not quite as fast). The real difference is the cabin. It has a true stand up cabin which is loaded with all the comforts. You can get these at a good price, but they are rare.
