How fast is a 38TE with tripple 275 Verados?

two air...wanna go for a ride? I have a 38TE trip 275's. With 93 octane in the 275's with cooler weather and good water on a light load (aprox 75-100gal) I can hit 73mph but mostly it is right in line with the performance factory test that came with the boat at 72mph. Right now my boat is mostly full 350-375 gal of 89 octane fuel, full fresh water tank too and all gear and it will hit 68-69ish. I have not gone WOT since this spring and 50hrs ago. I just do not boat like that. The real important info I can give you is I cruise at 4000rpms getting 1.4mpg at 48-49mph. Back it down to 3700rpms at 42mph and I get 1.5-.6mpg! A 51mph cruise is at 41-4200 is getting 1.4-1.3mpg. With worked props from Throttle Up this boat will eek out another few mph. A guy at Terra Verde has the same boat as me and is hitting 75.

BTW, it's for sale...perfect condition 150hrs, ECM updates and all maintanance records. It will be at the dealer in St. Pete a few weeks to fix the stereo head unit. Totally clean looking white hull ready for a vinyl wrap or paint.

Hi Julie, Bravo 1 26P. You all did the props on the boat I spoke about in my post above and it really helped.

oop's my bad meant 74-75, get the model's confused at times.

Thats what I thought but wanted to make sure. We are working on some smaller pitch outboards...cutting molds as I type. So in the near future we will have overhub outboard props....as of now (although I need prototypes to confirm) we are planning on 22P-34P in 4B and 5B configurations! I am very confident in the performance models.
