Sure, life is dangerous. That doesn't mean that every dangerous activity need be embraced. Especially when others are involved.
I re-watched the video. I noticed in the last half-second there's a little blonde-headed kid- maybe 3 or 4 years old- sitting in the back corner of the cockpit.
So what do we have here- Wake jumping, "willing" participants, some intoxicated- "again she was *****en about her camera - she was loaded" (your quote) and kids. Sometimes all this good, clean fun ends up in posts on here for the all-too-frequent request for prayers.

I will let our friends wife know how YOUNG she looks!!! That was her taking pics, she was kneeling!!! There were NO kids on either boats!! We went away from main stream water(no one else around) Yes the ZOOM worked or we wouldn't look so close. We DO NOT have "BOOZE" EVER on our boat. (ask anyone that knows us!!!!!!!) We don't drink till it's parked for the day!! The kill cord is always worn wether I am driving or he is!!!!!!
By the way THIS IS DA WIFE!!
We had plenty of space between the boats.
I cannot believe a 30 sec clip could cause so much grief!!! If you enjoyed it --Thanks If Not, don't watch it and mind your own bussiness. I already have parents and don't need more!!!!

You should take your own advice-If you can't take the negative comments and are only looking for someone to tell you how "cool" you are, don't post the video-show it in the privacy of your living room.
The image of this sport is everyone's business who owns a boat.

I was merly trying to clear up all the "assumptions" (Kids, drinking, tether, and so forth)
I do read the posts and I do realize the perceptions, that is why I was trying to clear up any confusion on the situation.
We get plenty of ridicule because we don't drink and party on our boat we are used to perceptions.

Fun maybe-safe...very debatable---but IF you've read any posts on these forums but your own you'd realize that public perception of powerboaters in general has not been good. There has been a rash of accidents ranging from driver error to over-driving one's ability to showing off to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Regardless of the causes of these accidents, it is shedding a bad light on the sport.

I can't believe this thread is still going about how dangerous this or that is....The fountain jump was nothing but cool for the camera shot, no big deal.
