38' Lightening with T-1075 Mercs and #6
 

Anyone running that combo?

That would be one fast mo-fo!

I only know of a few 42's with that combo. Fast as shiit.

I doubt you could get the 1075's in the 38, ever seen how tight it is in a 42?

Dont know if you could get them in a 38. The 700's run the NXT transmission and the 6's. If you put 1075's in the boat you would have to run alot bigger transmission, which means pushing the motors forward. The 700's full stagger, puts the front motor about 5 inchs from the rear seatback now.
The 42's with 1075's are in the high 120's and I have heard that Taboo has run as fast as 136.

850's in a 38 would be a sweet package. They claim to have them running 115 with 700's at the factory but I've had inland dealers tell me they are only seeing 105 -107 in fresh water.

I wonder what they are seeing with the 850's or if they have even done one.

Do you know if they have ever done a 42 poker run with 1075s or the new 1200s? I am thinking that would be the poker run boat to have.

We have a guy on our lake running an all white 38 700 boat that is just amazing.....to see and hear go by. The only problem is the cockpit is about the same size as my 27. At least it looks that small.
