I wonder if Fountain could be any less helpful. I have called the Fountain factory several times over the last year or so and the only one who was ever helpful with any of the simple questions was Chris Dan who left the company recently. I never seem to be able to get anyone other than Audix and after multiple attemps, usually get some disinterested "customer service" employee who seems annoyed no matter how simple or diplomatic the question. The only ones I've ever met or spoken with that are helpful or interested are Reggie and Wyatt. Why don't they get rid of these idiots who are compromising their business and replace them with people who can at least seem interested in their customers.

Did you tape that? I taped the 2004 I was in at 5'6". It did seem it would be very easy to increase the headroom by changing the headliner, but they are not interested in doing so.

Someone who is clearly clueless about structure, but claimed a title like "production structural engineer," said they needed the longitudinal plywood that suspends the headliner on centerline for deck structural reasons. I don't give lectures on structural engineering on the telephone, so I left it at that.

Maybe they reduced the size of that centerline plywood to get another inch. Still annoying to have a piece of wood behind the headliner, right where one's head hits the ceiling.

From the latest picture of a 47 interior at the Lake Cumberland site it does look like the headliner is pulled up a bit more down centerline now. Would be interested in running a tape measure on a really new one now, but there is no longer a dealer in California.

I am able to stand in the galley area with a slight lean of my head. I am 6' 1". It is not bad at all for 105 mph.
My wife is 5' 7" and she can stand up.
