Since it sounds like you want twin motors and a decent amount of room for overnighting especially on the great lakes, I would look into a 35 with mild power.

I own a 2000 32' Fever with twin 502's bought new in 02. Boat has 91 hours and professionally maintained. I also had installed Minute Drain system which makes winterizing a snap. No trailer, kept on boat lift at Lake of the Ozarks. $83,900 takes. Has wave graphics and special deck graphs and docking lights. Give me a call if interested.

i have a 32 and love it. it is the best boat i have ever owned, and i have owned several. but i cant even winterize it the way u should because like the others have said it takes a crew of miniture migets to get to anything, or you have to pull a motor. so if you are considering a 29 still, i would go single and get 500/525, you get the bonus of more top end and some g.d. room in the engine compartment.

That is a really, really nice 32. On one hand, I'm finding that the 32 isn't really that much more money to purchase, and alot more boat. But, on the other hand, definately more money to run, one more motor to maintain and, alot more truck to pull it with safely. But man, having all that hull sure is tempting.

Thanks for the comment. I like the boat alot, its big enough to handle rough stuff yet small enough for the smaller lakes and rivers where I live. I think its priced right to sell.

If my goal were to spend a lot of nights onboard the Fountain I would recommend the 32, 35, or better yet a 38. The separate head on the 35 and 38 would be a real bonus.

Winterizing the 29' with twin 6.2s was not a problem. Once it was warmed up I used a 5 gal. winterizing kit I bought from West Marine. I used the pink 50 below antifreeze and ran 5 gal. through each motor. It was a breeze.

i'm favoring the twins right now mainly for the comfort that if one motor takes a dump, i'll still have the other to keep moving i want to overnight throughout the great lakes ports so its mainly for that reason. i've taken all posts into consideration and appreciate everyones input not ready to decide exactly what boat i want yet.

Also the fact with the twins, it is so much more maneuverable. I recently bought a 32' Sunsation with twin 6.2L and it is fantastic. I have it at the same marina and I have an easier time moving the 32' boat in tight spots than the 22'. There's no going back to singles after twins. I'm sure that includes dating ;)

Is this thread still alive...it was from 2008... The question should be asked what boat did the OP get and did he like it?
