Going to look at a 94 35' Fountain this weekend, anything in particular I should look for with this particular model?

What engines, how many hours, salt or fresh water, records of maintenance?

I had a friend that sold his '94 35' last year. It was a great boat, but he had to sell pretty cheap because of the number of hours.

502efi, low hours like 90, probably a mixture of salt and fresh. Not sure of hours on the hull, but probably quite a few since its 14 years old.

If that doesn't work out for you, take a look at Gulf Coast Boating. See Andrew, he is a sales guy. I bought my old boat, a 32' Sunsation Dominator from them. They are good people and honest. They usually have several performance boats and their prices are fair. Here is a link.

Tell him Gerrit sent you.

get a moisture check on the stringers and transom, they tend to get water logged and can rot/ crack. Also, check the hull for any hooks, or bubbled gel coat on the running surface.
90 hours? only used it one day a year?... Get the real mechanical hx. on it. Carder

scan the brains for history. hours, time at rpm, trouble codes , etc,,,.
moisture meter.
look at starter for corrosion, this will tell you if the boat has had water issues.
pull drives and inspect gimbals.
