James I had a 2000 29 HP500 Fountain and with you on board and low fuel (50 gal.) you should see 74 maybe touch 75 on a good day perfect water conditions.

Very interesting post!.......you should make this post into a thread about your experience.......guy after guy has posted here about how his boat wont run the numbers in the Reggie Report he got with his boat........this certainly sheds some light on it.

I got 68.6 gps on my 27. Thats pretty much exactly what reggy got on radar?

10 gallons of fuel doesn't weight that much
