And have a cool rooster tail......
|
cool package a friend of mine had one for a few years, very neat and always turned heads.
|
be carefull swimming by the back of the boat. Ask if the boat has a Negative ballast water tank in the front..That would be your trim I think .

We have more protection than any other drive out there from the aspect of falling or swimming around the propeller.

What protection is there on a Mercury Speedmaster?
Take a close look at a #3, #4, #5 or even the #6 which is the only one with a Cav plate over the propeller and it is only 6" wide. Likewise the cav plate on a Bravo is no wide either. So why is there a concern on an Arneson and not the others? |

So why is there a concern on an Arneson and not the others? Out drives tend to be more under the back of the boat where the arneson drives are more up and water level in the back. I step on my out drive or a lower unit from a outboard to enter the boat all the time. have you tryed to step on the arneson drive to enter your boat latley? If so Be careful ..not a big deal ..just be careful.. were not talkin bout yo moma here :D! |

Looks are deceiving. I don't advise one to hang, stand, jump or associate themselves with an outdrive when the boat is in the water regardless of who makes it. |

Negative pookie. There is just less metal around it....picture a #6 shaft only and there you have it. Like Rik said its only 4" more than a bravo. I wish the "hard turning" and "dangerous prop" myths would just be put to rest once and for all.
That would be sweet ..:D |

That would be sweet ..:D no, there would be significant bottom work required to make it handle I would expect. Here is a 28AT with an arneson.....its a flat transom boat so the comparison is slim. I just like the pic. |
scandelous: post pics of the boat.....!
|
not to be offensive but ... GAAAUUUD THAT thing is ugly .is that a active thunder?
