be carefull swimming by the back of the boat. Ask if the boat has a Negative ballast water tank in the front..That would be your trim I think .

We have more protection than any other drive out there from the aspect of falling or swimming around the propeller.

What protection is there on a Mercury Speedmaster?

Take a close look at a #3, #4, #5 or even the #6 which is the only one with a Cav plate over the propeller and it is only 6" wide.

Likewise the cav plate on a Bravo is no wide either. So why is there a concern on an Arneson and not the others?

Don't get me wrong. I have loved arnesor siince the 80's when they came on formulas..

Out drives tend to be more under the back of the boat where the arneson drives are more up and water level in the back.

I step on my out drive or a lower unit from a outboard to enter the boat all the time.

have you tryed to step on the arneson drive to enter your boat latley? If so Be careful ..not a big deal ..just be careful..
were not talkin bout yo moma here !
