Blownincome....that is what I used to think, till I got this boat! After many lengthy conversations with some of the original 80's Fountain r&d guys, I've learned that this is'nt the average ordinarry standard production 10 mtr. There were only 5 built like this in its time. They were called the "phase V turbo" and came from Fountain with big HP Gentry twin turbo engines, a bullet proof Mercury drivetrain, and ALL ran well over 100MPH. This particular boat was Fountain's test (research & development) piece. It has a blueprinted hull that has been designed for speed. Many changes on engine placement also.( It runs like a stagggered eng boat). 1989, Reggie and Robert T. drove this one in Sarasota to set a speed KILO record of 117.8 MPH. Pretty quick for 15 yrs ago. Above 90 mph, there isn't much boat in the water, drives are VERY sensitive to any kind of trim, and the tabs? well, let's say on calm to a 1ft chop, they're barely in the water. Another pic of how it normally runs.

I was always a fan of the older executioner/ICBM if it wasn't for all the r&d Reggie did then we wouldn't be where we are today. I will never forget my first ride in a 88/40' with 620s trs drives the sound and the feel in 5/6 footers was something I will never Forget!!!
Oh Ya then I ran out and set my sites on owning one, a 90 w/600s YA Thats what Im Talking about!!!! not as fast as your baby but Oh What a feeling!!!!Oh Ya the shot of the underside from a hellicopter Is rather impressive!!! Had a Few dirty looks from my Wife too!!
Been The Done That!!LOL

Nitrofever...........The pic is kinda small, try resizing your pics to about 800, and let the site resize it from there. Is this the 10 mtr that was in the Fountain run in Oct 03? In the beginning before the run, it showed a fountain that looks like yours, starting the engine. From the couple of seconds that I heard the engine idle, it sounded like it had some major HP!!! If this was your boat, lets see more pics and have the details.

10x yes it is the boat at the PRA event in NC, but no its not mine. I met the guy that owns it at a poker run on lake erie, nice fellow. Power is 600ci, 800hp Arneson drives speed 105. His lady friend e-mailed these pics to us and I had to post them. I think its one of the nicer 10 meters Ive seen. This is my boat.

Dang, better not walk to close to the rear of that boat. It slices and dices!
Looks like the trailer has a drive guard on it for a regular stern drive setup.
