Default Blueprinted bottoms?

I'm just about to have my 35' blue printed. Just checking if any other Fountain owner has had this done? And, what were the results? Thanks.

'01 35' single step
Since the boat is LOTO, I am having it done near St. Louis. Al Minen, who does the Bud Select, and a number of other race boats. Just trying to get some ideas from other fountain owners of what to expect.

Great article. Thanks for the reading. I see there is a lot of work involved. I wonder how long his boat was in the shop?

As soon a s I saw a picture I knew where that was. Nabbers does some of the best work around. Should have our hull back from him in a couple weeks. I believe he did Sommer's 95 35 lightning before he bought it. Should be good for 3-5 mph depending on how your bottom started .

Nabbers did mine too about 2 winters ago. He found "many" wavey spots on the bottom, replaced the transom and made it a lillte thicker, and replaced the original 5 stringers in the engine compartment, with 9, all except the center one. Sharpened all the edges on the bottom, and now the boat comes up on plane a little easier. Put the rocker back into the bottom, and the boat runs and handles great.
As far as speed????????? I don't really know, it goes plenty fast enough the way it was, hard to really tell when it'll run in the mid to upper teens in perfect water.

Hey Rebel,

Did you ever get a baseline to find out how much it out of "spec" it was?

The guy I was trying to get here in KC is not interested in taking on mine as a project. I'll be interested to here about your experience with the guy in St. Louis.

I'll be taking mine to Gene's in about 2 weeks to prep for summer splashing.
