Just wondering why I haven't had many hits on selling my boat. Am I out of line with the price or something? I figured it would sell pretty quick and i've priced it much lower than most, but I know the market is pretty much crap right now. Just wanting some opinions on what I should do to try and get out of it before I put it back on boattrader, looking to step into something bigger. (It's got 99 hours on it now too).

I know there's a lot of boats out there right now but even looking back to the late 90's model 27's (98+), it seems like they aren't much cheaper than what i'd take for mine. Most people are probably not getting what they want/need out of them, that's probably why they're still for sale.... What do you think would be a fair price on what i've got then? I don't know of any other freshwater 27's that year or close to it that are going for any cheaper, am I wrong?

If you have a fountain dealer close see if they will broker it. I had great luck that way and the boat sold for more than what I was asking when I was trying to sell it myself.
Some people just like buying from a dealer, plus they have the foot traffic. Not everyone knows about OSO or even boattrader.

thanks man, i've got a few options on what i want to get into next, just gotta sell this one first then.....well you'll have to wait and see. If you know then keep it a secret cause I dont want anyone to know.
Von Bongo, we don't have a really close fountain dealer I don't beleive. I'll check around and see what I can find. I've got several friends at marina's/marine centers that sell other brand powerboats and maybe they can help with it. Thanks again.

Good looking boat. You didn't happen to have it sitting in the back parking lot of Life University?? There was a 27 Fountain sitting back there a couple weeks ago when I drove through looked like the one you have listed.

C M R, yeah that was mine sitting back there, I work right next door but have to park there and walk, kinda stinks we don't have parking but thats the same boat. I just buffed it and have spent 2 weeks detailing every inch of it, toothbrush in the bilge and all, putting new tires on the trailer just because, even buffed the trailer....running out of stuff to clean/polish.
tblrklakemo, you thinking the market is just flooded with them now and nobody's buying? Or you saying my boat is ugly
? Just kiddin I just figured it wouldn't take too much to sell, and I really like the low profile windshield and graphics, not too crazy just looks good to me...but what do i know.
