Lee,
Are you secretly selling your boat off one piece at a time?
Where did you end up for final set-up?

Carder,
The shorty's and P5's did not do what I expected speedwise, maybe with different props or tweaking the P5's would have been the answer, after spending 7k and not going any faster I was just tired of dumping money into it. As for the interior the the red and yellow never looked good together, sold everything except the step plates and carpet and going with purple hardware and gray carpet with yellow pad around the fairing.

Carder,
It's a matter of removing the six nuts that secure the upper and lower and one that holds the anode on the cavitation plate to swap lower's and then replacing drive oil of course.

Thanks... I am considering it if my big blades don't spin more RPMS when I burn some fuel off...

Does anyone know if these steps are the same size and screw locations on different size/year boats. Specifically asking about a 1990 42'. Thanks

I sold these to a forum member that has a 42, the dimensions on them are 8 3/4 x 3 1/4 in. I think that is the only size they use.

I received the step pads today. They look great and look to be the same size that I am replacing. Will be putting them on this weekend. Thanks for sending them so quickly. Erik
