I have a 38' Fountain....I need a 10k lbs. lift in the Dallas area....If anyone knows of a used one available, let me know.

Have you checked with the lift companies?....they take trade-ins all the time. Thats how I got mine.

10K will not be enough for a 38. I broke a 9K lift with a 1990 29' Fountain with twin 454's. I would at least 12K if not 14K. I use a 14K for my Cafe' and it is just about right.

i have a 10k lift and it lifts my 35 with no problem .not sure the weight difference.i bought it from a guy with a 42 fountain and he wants it back.

Check with Highport Marina and also Derebery Performance Marine. They both have used large lifts.

You are going to need a 12K for sure. There is one for sale in Austin. Call Ericson Marine and ask for Jerry in sales. There is a 38 fever sitting on it now.
