I had a good visit with Dr. McFarland about his Fountain yesterday and I'm scheduled to do it the third week in June.
He said the boat was built for Rusty Wallace and had a #2 on the hull previously. Can anyone confirm that this was the only Black or only one ever built.
I'll get some pictures up after we get back from the Jax. PR.
May sound cheesy, but kind of excited about such a rare boat.

I saw that #2 Wallace boat many years ago. I'm trying to remember where. It must be an '88 or so probably a 10 meter.
As far as black boats Lilly's Heartbeat was black from the factory and came with the preachers boat bottom and #3's. It must have been about an 87 or 88. If it has the preachers bottom and #3's I would consider it to be rare.

I spoke W/Rusty at a race up here in NH back in 2000
He asked us to his crew out on The 42 we had and said he missed his fountain but had to let it go due to sponsorship from another boat Comany.. Was a Cool
Moment for me and My Friend Scott to have Rusty Walk up to us at the Nazwa (Local watering hole) and ask Who owned the big red Fountain and could his Crew go out for a ride with us...My Buddy Scott Who owned the boat Was Stunned!
