Replacing Anchor light mast. How does it go?
Some brain scientist repalce the socket with a 2 terminal. The mast is a 3 terminal.(Ground, Anchor light, and navagation light.?)
I'm thinking it is arrow twards the front, front light w navagation switch..Narrowed rear light w anchor switch so you can be by shore and have an anchor light out the back without lighting the cock pit like the sun when you are entertaining a guest or 2. But it would be nice to know how they are from the factory.
It has an arrow on top the light .
Which way faces the front of the boat ?
The side w the arrow on top has a wide full rounded beam and the other bulb side has a more narrowed beam.
If anyone could tell me which way to install it, I would be much obliged.

What he said.
I just replaced mine this year too. I went with a 2 terminal intentionally. What happened is my light broke and it seems that Fountain is the only company that uses a 3 terminal and the light needed to be special ordered. So rather than do that I bought a 2 terminal and light and installed it.
