Default High Oil Temp...2000 32' fever

Hello All,
I have a 2000 32' fountain fever -twin Mercruiser 502's.
The engines in my Fountain have oil temp gauges. One of the gauges runs hot 240-290. I replaced oil cooler, oil sender, oil temp gauge....still no luck..
Can some please help...
Thanks...

Sure you replaced the oil temp gauge sender and not the press sender?

Could always run jumper wires between the motors senders to narrow down the item causing the problem. Basically reading oil temp from the opposite motor.

Yes...it was the temp sender...
I switched the gauge wires under the dashboard....and the temp went to 290 on the other gauge also...

Default cooler

pull the hose off on the inlet side of the cooler and see if trash or some of your water pump impeller is blocking the water flow.

not good, I would try a new oil filter and cut the old one open, look for very small metallic in the oil, if so spun bearing
