I have the same boat as you, with about the same power, with std. lowers and bravos labbed by BBlades 31 pitch 1.5 gear ratio the boat ran 93.0 I changed to imco -2 shorties with 1.34 gears -but installed 1" spacers. the boat ran 93.7. I removed the 1" spacers and the boat ran 97.1 I broke a prop and have tried 28 maximus out of the box boat and ran 93.0. With hydromotive p5x 30", the boat ran 96.0. regular p5's 30" 96.6 finally got Tom to send me a quad 4X 30" pitch. he did not think the boat would come on plane. I ran them yesterday- 5400 @ 99.17 out of the box, non labbed.They come right up on plane and I ran it time and time again, so it was not a one shot wonder. I know what works on one boat does'nt always work on another, but for what these props cost they are definitely worth trying.

Interesting comparison. I could not get the Quad 4s to get me on plane. How do compare the P5s and P5Xs, other than top speed?

The Quad 4X, not the Quad 4, I could not get on plane with the Q4s either.The Q4X is similar to the bravo but is 15" in diameter- the cruise was a little slower compared to the 5 blades but its not terrible.
