We where in some 5-6's at least on Lake Erie, but the kid was with me so I didn't want try pushing it to getting on top of them and end up stuffing one. I've never been in that nasty of water in this boat ,but sounds like I should have went faster than 25mph and road or skipped over the tops.

5-6 footers...you'd better be ready to throttle that bad boy or you will be buying new drives! Runnin' on top takes a bit of skill and the ability to conquer that tiny voice in the back of your brain that says "Hey...if I do this, something could break."

Thanks. I'll be doing some work to her shortly...updating it a bit under the hatch...
For the record, red is a pain in the a$$, but it looks good when you are done! 3 coats of wax on the deck and 2 on the hullsides before she hits the water in the spring, at least 2 or 3 more deck waxes during the summer along with another hull wax...it's great for toning those arm muscles.
