OK,
So Greg didn't like a few things on our new boat as far as fit and finish, so he pointed them out to me and said he would get authorization from Fountain to be taken care of...
... well I assumed that would be next Spring, if at all.
Guess what? I get new Carpet, seat skins, and other assorted parts all sent to my house, with a prior authorization from Shogrens/ Fountain to have this stuff installed and approved by my local Marina!!!
The stuff is already here, and it isn't the week before Spring lauch... I am impressed to say the least.

That's impressive!
So if I remember right you were looking at 35s @ Shogren correct? What's the deal on the '07 Staggered 35? Seems like it has been there a while, have you see it?

Raggedge!!! correct!!!
We originally made an appointment to sea trial the "07 35 SL they had purchased from Fountain...
It was a rocket ship!
...but the cockpit was much smaller than our current 35 Lightning, due to 1) the staggered engine configuration, and 2) the bolsters were bigger than ours, too.
So, the boat performed great, but it had the same cockpit space as we had in our previous 29' Fever.
...then when we returned to Shogrens after the ride, my wife climbed up in the 38 EC and it was all over...

Ragged,
This was not a speed trial by any means.. it was Greg from Shogren driving, me, my wife, and my 6 yo... and it was a bumpy Lake Mi. day.. We ran it up to about 80 mph.
... I saw the recall on the GPS: 101 mph
