Granted the floor is longer in the 29 than the 27, so naturally more room for a longer tank in the 29. But thats a big difference in fuel capacites for the smaller difference in floor space.

2000 Sportboat book from Fountain says it has a 61 gallon tank. I probably could scan in the specs, if you really need them. Never found their spec sheet to be all that accurate, though

Mine is a 92 27.. It reads correctly if you are on the trailer. I have the 5-6 size sender. I am really happy with it. It will run for a while with the guage reading empty. If you are in the water not on plane it reads fuller than it is .(the sender is in the back of the tank) so get her on plane to get a more accurate reading . It will still say it is a little high... On the trailer it is corrrect though.

Also I have 2 aluminum 25 gal saddle tanks. Boy they are nice.. I leave a little on one when I'm not useing it just in case. This makes my capacity 108.:D

WOW. I was hoping it was bigger than that. Thanks for the info. I should have bought a 29

On my 2000 29 I have an access panel right under the back seat to get to the sending unit. If you look close, there is a plate that says what your capacity is. Mine is 132 gallons according to this plate.

problem is they don't put that info on all boats. not a lot of consistency unfortunately...
