Depends, if you want to have a boat for sale that just sits along with everybody else's - $160k+

If you actually want to sell it - less than $150K

Six months ago I would have said $180K+ but back then they weren't predicting 10+% unemployment rates and the dow hadn't fallen off a cliff.

It's a tough climate to move a boat and IMO you have to price it accordingly in order to actually sell one.

I understand what you are saying. Ive got a guy that called on my boat and has this trade. I don't want to have any more coin in a boat that will sit and just want to make a fair deal for both of us. I was told 125k is a good number to put on it if I want to sell it quickly. Thanks Jeff

$125,000 is an exceptional price...

I would list at $135,000...see if you can get it..and if not it gives you some room to come down to $125,000...

I just saw a Motion Cat listed for 150k on
http://www.luxuryassettrader.com/

Man there is some sweet stuff on that site...

Jeff 125.000 Would be a good # as a trade figure to put in that boat.. gives you some room to carry it for a while .
135k if you want to be a little farther out on the edge.
With a Myco under it of course...

Wow, I thought some people might blast me for saying that it would take something south of $150K to move that boat in this mkt - and you guys are saying $125 - $135K. Guess I"m not the only really bearish guy out there.

When I look through the classifieds and see the crazy high prices that some sellers have on their boats I can't imagine what they are thinking. I guess people can always hope.

No In reality The # you were thinking 150 is a little low, as a retail figure is 160-175 should be the asking price and depending on the boat and options/condition should sell in the upper 150s/160s if Jeff is willing to take a trade on his boat I would not expect to see him show retail #s on the trade
He is helping the guy off his boat so he should be able to move the trade boat and not have to carry it long.... hence the lower #s

Cool

You guys kill me...................at lest ask if it is a Lightning or a Ex. If it a Ex then the numbers your talking about would be close, 125k. If it is a Lightning, 150k would be a good deal.
