dial in? wow. thats great speed. I have to tell you, that boat is awsome. i seen that boat in a picture that they took of a baja. your boat was in the background. hands down you own one of the best looking boats on the water!!! you are one lucky guy. love the way that baot runs on the water. I love the 47 but the front looks bulky. the 42 has sexy lines....awwwww so sexy. enjoy the boat! great combo and awsome options.

Those are vent tubes that help ventilate the big props on take-off. A lot of #6 drives have them.

Fountain 42 Lightning is the best boat in the world. It is light on its feet, but goes like a train and is so sexy!! But I have a fetish for 47s too... 47 is a little "arrogant". It just says, "I dont care, because I am a 47 Fountain..." :-)

That is the idea. I don't have the tubes and we roll over just fine, even with the tabs all the way up. However, I typically do drop the tabs to help lower strain on the transmission. With the tabs down, it only takes 2,000 rpm's to come on plane and stay on plane. The 42 with SSM#6 drives is an amazing boat.
