Default 42 Lightning - Props

Have a 2001 Lightning, 575's. Putting the AZ kits on this winter, what speed should I see and what props should I be spinning. Currently spinning Mercury 32 p 4 blades at 5450 rpm with full tanks @ 50 degrees air temp

before you do az kits call precision marine in kenner la. Mark is the very best has done three motors and reprograms with out any trouble and he will call you back and help thru the process. i would think 5 blade props would be best

I'd deal with Mark instead as well......he's been great dealing with the changes we've made to my motors.

Ihave the same boat-did the same thing. Don't waste your money. Go directly to Mark at Precision. I had negative results until going to Mark. Now i'm running 95. You won't gain anything by changing props unless you change your drive height. The boat will be faster with the 32s unitl you do more than just the AZ Speed deal. They won't help you after the purchase. Been there, done that. Please spend the money up front by going to Mark. He will save you a lot of frustration.
