I can't wait to test it out!!!!! I wonder what docking a 47 with ASD's is going to be like??... should be interesting to say the least...

Q

Docking.... HAHA that will be fun. Maybe you can get a green bow thruster aswell... :-) I remember running a 47 Lightning with twin 480 Yanmar staggered with Arneson very cose toghether. That is the biggest turning circle I have ever experienced.. But this baby is not meant for docking anyway. Do you have any pictures from when it was new or with the engines in it?? How was the engine configuration made.

In these environmental times..... Green is a very comprehensive color! Especially in that boat :-)

Good to see that the old Fountains live a long life and get redone from time to time. The boat is one bad ass rig. Congrats!

Try a close centered Merc drive and see if you can tell a difference

Rik!!! I figured that you'd respond to that one! Mike at Lightning Bay has started installing the ASD8's and I cannot wait to see it completed. Thank you sooo much for the help and I will keep you all updated on the progress.

P.S. If you know of anyone with good power close or over the 1000hp mark please let me know... in need of rebuild is ok.

I'd love to have that boat, especially with the new paint on it.

Wonder how much it would take to get it??? I just happen to have a set of engines for it....
