Any Fountain clubs in my area?

Hi, my name is Bob Davis I live in New Bern N.C. I have a Fountian Fever boat and had hoped on hooking up with other fellow boaters but to my suprise it seem the only clubs here are sailing and trawler groups. need less to say I feel like a fish out of water? Does anyone have any suggestions on where powerboaters go for lunch, dinner, raft up or poker runs in my area or close to it, Va. maybe S.C Could use some input out there, Iam just wanting to be around other people who share my love for the boat and its performance. thanks guys for your help!!!!! Bob

I travel to Morehead in the summer and I will try to let you know when I will be visiting. I usually bring my 38 with me. PM me your phone number and I will call before coming down. Maybe we can hook up. Roger

Roger I see your post shows two Fountains do you have two now or is that your stable of boats over time? We both have a love for the style no doubt. Bob

Hey 10k4u, thanks for the input I use to live in Hanover County just north of Richmond but I had a 19 ft. searay at the time. No joy if you know what I mean. I have read a thread some where about a club who does poker runs on the James River? Do you know of this group of boaters? Bob

The club is the Richmond Powerboat Association (RPBA) and they put on the Jammin on the James pokerrun...if you go to the pokerrun forum there is ton of info on this run

Bob, I have two Fountains. The 29 stays at my lake house in the summer but I take the 38 to different venues. I have your number. Roger

You've got to be kidding. You are right next to the Pamlico river and Fountain factory. Aren't there a bunch of Fountain sponsored events to keep you busy all season?
