Any used go-fast requires a very large down payment.
I have heard several times that there is no way to get financing on a triple engine go-fast.
Therefore, you probably need an all-cash buyer. That certainly will thin the population of potential buyers. Not to zero, but its probably going to be someone who owns a business that does a lot of cash transactions, and very unlikely to be someone with a job.
Since most companies are really trying to hold on to their cash right now... well, you can predict the outcome.

Send it to Dubai and have it in the biggest marina on the water were the money guys are. The boat is still a very fantastic machine. Maybe someone just want it....`
I am selling a 1998 47 with new 525s myself. It requires a good sales man to put it in that way! Good luck with yours.

triples don't scare me, I love them. Post some pics. The 47 lightning is my favorite. I have owned a 96 and a 01. I wish I still had the 01.

That's what I bought. I paid cash. Best offshore boat period. Limited companies insure triples, but the maintenance costs are actually much lower than big power twins and the longevity is much better. How is it maintained and how clean is it?

Sure it will sell, but you need to be realistic on what you can get for it. 47 is great boat, just a big mofo. The biggest factor in you selling your boat will be condition, NO ONE wants to buy a 47 in chit cond. All the fixer upper guys fade around the 35' range.
