Thinking about powder coating my windshield - take a look

Btw, I'm going to do the very same job on my windshield this winter, and I'm tempted by anodizing, instead of powder coating.
To my knowledge, painted aluminum on boats is never going to last, no matter how well the paint/coating job is done.
Ideally, alu lasts forever when left natural, but the second best is often considered the anodization.
Any views on that?
Btw, I'm going to do the very same job on my windshield this winter, and I'm tempted by anodizing, instead of powder coating.

You are probably right. I don't like the gray enough to go through the hassle and the black will probably leave 2nd degree burns in the Texas heat. Sounds like I am passing on this project. Thanks for the feedback.
