Default stepped hulls & trailers

anyone ever alter or trim the bunks on theyre trailer for stepped hulls to avoid hankups trying to get the boat off, some landings are not deep enough or steep enough. thanks.

Yep, you can cut them way back at an angle to ease in getting the boat off the trailer, but you will likely never be able to power off the trailer, or slide off like a straight bottom boat. If you don't have enough water to float up over the step, you are likely not going to have deep enough water to try and power off. Hence is one of the pitfalls of a step bottom boat; especially for folks who travel to different ramps.

We had that same problem getting our 35 twin step off the Myco trailer at the lake we boated at in NC. Ramp was too shallow of an angle. Almost had to have the truck blowing bubbles to get the boat off the trailer ... wasn't fun.
