Shorties on a 35 Single Step

I think you would see a gain, have two friends that did the -2's and both saw a performance gain. One was a 1997 35, the other was a 1999. The older Fountains all seem to gain from the higher X dimension.

Mine is a couple of years newer and we know both have the same x dimension (with in 1/8") both boats have about the same power and run with in .2 MPH of each other.
However if i was convinced i would gain even 5 mph for what it would cost with shorties and props I would do it in a heart beat. I talked to Brian at Fountain and he said that without 6 blades we would never get it on plane with shorties and would not gain allot, however Gerald (gnorthpda) had Brian set up his boat and he used -2 and 6 blades and got him north of his goal. however Gerald had about the same power and about the same top end.
There is a set i can borrow anytime but I am not sure I have a set of props that will work.

Drives are very deep, I am running 5 Blade 29 Herrings to 5600 RPM, Limiter is set at 5800. Right now light load 88 WOT.
